Methods:
Direct Printing
Printing
onto Combined Board
- Commonly known as post print, this printing is performed after
the board is combined and cut into sheets.
ADVANTAGE: It is typically the least expensive way to print, making
it ideal for short runs or where cost is the primary consideration.
Printing
onto the Linerboard - before being glued to fluted medium. This
can result in a more refined image than printing directly onto the
combined board. It offers the option to print on kraft, mottled
or oyster while, bleached white or a coated surface.
ADVANTAGE: It is the middle ground between direct printing and sheet
printing in terms of both price and quality.
