Processes

Abbott-Action’s expertise in virtually all types of printing methods from letterpress, flexography and screen printing to digital and offset lithographic printing helps you get the best results for your project. With many in-house printing options and relying on only the best outside offset resources, we can ensure:

  • fine line reproduction
  • accurate registration
  • small to large formats
  • single to multi-color
  • short or long runs
  • rapid turnaround
  • total quality control

There are two major printing process classifications. Plate processes use mechanical presses to exert heavy pressures to transfer ink to paper. These include offset lithography, letterpress, flexography, gravure and screen. Plateless processes use digital imaging and copy-like printers to transfer a fresh image with each cycle of the printing device. These include digital, ink-jet or thermal transfer.

For printing on corrugated, there are five processes to consider:
Offset Lithography
Flexography
Letterpress
Screen
Digital
