Box strength is primarily determined by an ECT (Edge Crush Test) rating for stacking strength or a Burst Test (Mullen Test) for puncture resistance. Considerations include weight, fragility, shipping method, and storage conditions. Occasionally, we find clients who have under-engineered boxes, leading to box collapses and product damage. And then others who have over-engineered boxes costing more than they should, driving up unnecessary costs. We make sure you’re in the correct box.
